Five simple hairstyles for girls

Decorated low ponytail

hairstyles for girls: mom brushes daughter's hair

This hairstyle starts with a normal ponytail, 3 or 4 inches below the neck. The special thing about it is that it is decorated with the hair itself.

How? It’s simple: before making the ponytail, simply separate a small section of hair on the right and left sides of the head. Then make a ponytail as usual. Secure it with an elastic rubber band.

Then weave in the sections that you left out from the ponytail on top of the hairline. They should form a kind of “x” around the ponytail. Finally, secure everything with a hairpin or another small rubber band under the ponytail.

Decorated high ponytail

This is also a very simple hairstyle to do. Start by brushing the hair back, so that it is tightened tightly.

Then make a ponytail and fasten with an elastic rubber band, preferably high up on the head. This shows the knot better.

Then take some hair from the underside of the ponytail (the part near the head) and spin around the rubber band. Finally, secure the hair with a hairpin.

A beautiful knot

This is a comfortable hairstyle that also takes care of the hair. In English it is called “cotton candy bun”. It is perfect when you need to move a lot, for example when playing football or dancing. Because it is firmly attached, the hair does not come loose.

The first step is to put up a high ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. Then brush the ponytail to one side and forward, so that the hair covers the forehead.

Then start wrapping the hair around the ponytail and securing it with three or four hairpins. It will look like a ball on top of your head.

You can also try a variation on a regular knot, if the girl has very long hair. Then you use a braid instead of making a ponytail, to form the knot. Wrap the braid around itself and secure with a hairpin.

Baked braid

This is a very comfortable hairstyle because it does not come off easily. The girl can play and move as a child should and the hairstyle stays nice without problems. Baked braids can be made with all or part of the hair. Normally it is just a part.

The first step is to brush the entire hair so that it is tightened tightly. Then separate the upper part, from the forehead to the top of the head. Divide these sections into three parts and start braiding it.

As you braid, pick up new segments of hair from the sides and add them to the braid. This means that the first small braid becomes a larger braid.

Another variant is that you can braid the hair up to the ears, end the braid and leave the rest of the hair loose. Or you can braid your entire hair. Once you have the whole hair in the braid, just continue braiding until you have reached the desired length. Finally, fasten the braid with a rubber band.

Rolled up braid

round braid

This hairstyle only works for girls with long hair. It is best for special holidays, as it is a little too complicated to do every day.

It is a low braid, so the hairstyle starts at the neck. Make a long braid, but make sure it has a small tail at the bottom where you attach it with a hair band. Divide the “tail” in two so that the parts protrude to the sides.

Roll up the braid towards the neck. Attach it with hairpins, but make sure that the two tail parts protrude to the sides.

Divide the left tail into 3 or 4 parts, and make a loop with each in the direction of the head. Attach with a hairpin. Do the same on the other side, and vips you have a rolled up braid!

We hope you and your daughter will enjoy these beautiful but simple hairstyles for girls!
