Bavaroise with vanilla and strawberries

Ingredients

  • 150 grams of strawberries
  • 15 grams of gelatin
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla sugar
  • Sweeteners, such as stevia
  • 150 grams of cream
  • 15 grams of cornstarch
  • 250 ml minimum milk

Cooking

  1. Put gelatin in water and let stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, clean the strawberries and cut large berries into smaller mouthfuls. Dissolve the cornstarch in three tablespoons of milk and mix in the lightly beaten egg yolks and vanilla sugar.
  2. Heat the rest of the milk and a pinch of sweetener in a thick-bottomed saucepan. When it starts to boil, you have to stir constantly. Add the cornstarch mixture in a fine stream and continue stirring until the mixture reaches boiling point.
  3. Immediately remove the mixture from the heat – it must not boil. Strain the mixture and stir until it cools. Finally, mix down the strawberries and the whipped cream. Taste with sweetener.

This dessert provides about 230 kcal per serving, 20 grams of fat and 9 grams of carbohydrates.

Wholemeal wheat and orange cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • 60 grams of margarine
  • Liquid sweetener
  • 70 grams of mashed potatoes
  • 200 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 70 grams of kliflingor
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable margarine
  • Finely grated peel of an orange

Cooking

  1. Set the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix flour, yeast, cloves, orange juice and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the margarine a little at a time and work the ingredients together. The dough will be very crumbly. Then add the sweetener and mashed potatoes and work quickly together into a dough.
  3. Then add the egg and orange juice and mix well. Roll out the dough on a floured counter until it is very thin. Then cut out circles or squares that are about 5 centimeters in size.
  4. Bake on a greased baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes until the cakes are crispy. Allow to cool on a wire rack for best results and store them in an airtight container so that they stay crispy.

These cakes should be eaten with a clear conscience. Each cake provides 5 kcal, 2 grams of fat and 10 grams of carbohydrates.

Apple and cinnamon cake

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2.5 dl chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 0.75 dl sweetener
  • 1 dl unsalted butter

  • 5 dl wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 dl unsweetened apple puree

Cooking

  1. Set the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl. In another large bowl, mix the butter with the sweetener. Then add vanilla, eggs, chopped pecans, cinnamon, apple puree and finally the flour mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured form and put in the oven for about 30 minutes.

This recipe provides a total of 684 kcal per serving.
